Twitch Community Update: 8.6 Billion Hours Watched in 2026

Twitch just released its 2026 State of Gaming report, giving the community a fresh look at how big live gaming has become this year.

According to Twitch, viewers watched more than 8.6 billion hours of gaming content on the platform between January 1 and September 1, 2026. Twitch also reported that its five most-watched games generated nearly 1.7 billion hours watched combined, with League of Legends, Counter-Strike, GTA V and VALORANT among the major communities highlighted in the report.
